Keeping Texas Smiling

Proud Member of the TAO

Dr. Greenberg is a proud member of the Texas Association of Orthodontists (TAO), a professional organization of orthodontic specialists, committed to maintaining the highest standard of orthodontic care for patients throughout the state of Texas.

There’s multiple levels of orthodontic organizations. At the national level, there’s the American Association of Orthodontists, within that, there are a number of multi-state constituencies, but TAO is a state-level organization that deals with specific Texas-based issues. This is beneficial to orthodontists because it gives them the opportunity for more direct input, and to know what the state legislature is regulating in terms of rules and regulations for their orthodontic specialty. By being a member of this organization, Dr. Greenberg is able to be a voice for his patients and serve them with excellent care.

Choosing an Orthodontist is Important

If you’re considering orthodontics for yourself or your child, it’s best to seek an orthodontic specialist who’s best suited to care for your smile. Don’t wait to be referred! Did you know that all orthodontists are dentists first? Out of 100 dental school graduates, only six go through the additional 2-4 years of specialty training to become orthodontists. Orthodontists have invested thousands of hours specializing in straightening teeth and aligning the jaw. Dr. Greenberg also has extensive airway training and growth and development knowledge of the face and airway of patients, making him uniquely qualified to recognize and address obstructive sleep apnea issues.

Recently, Dr. Greenberg was selected to be interviewed by the Texas Association of Orthodontists to help spread the word about the importance of orthodontic care. What an honor for our office!
